New Flowers, Mutation Tree
I have added a lot of new content and added complexity to the game play for Chasing Phylums -- I hope you like it!
There are now 15 types of flowers (I removed the dandelion and clustered flower group). The flowers have multiple mutation possibilities from two distinct parent types (open and cupped petal). Both starting flower types are unlocked for sale at the beginning of the game, allowing more flexibility in game opening decisions. I have also adjusted the game economy to reflect the increased number of flowers that need to be grown to complete the game.
I have improved the layout of the drop down action menu and seed packet selection for both improved aesthetics and ergonomics. I also put a photo of the flower on it's respective seed packet, for clarity. Although I liked the simplicity of the earlier design, with the new mutation complexity it became necessary for maintaining the desired difficulty level of the game.
Aside from any bug fixes, this will be my last update to Chasing Phylums. I will begin working on my next game project -- subscribe to my itch page to stay tuned!
