Lost and Hound is a very short RPG about a dog who finds himself surviving a nuclear holocaust and journeys to find food and reunite with his owner, Mia. The game was created for the Pig Squad's Summer Slow Jam 2023 - Narrative, and is thus very short. This game highlights interesting lore-building set pieces, clever game mechanics, and a charmingly bittersweet story about a dog experiencing the world post-nuclear fallout and still being very much a dog about it.

This game has a ton of potential to be expanded upon to a larger scale RPG with more places to explore, interact-able scenery, and enemy variants, plus the addition of side quests and meaningful choices. The original concept included two classes of human survivors - the elites and the conspiracy theorists, which unfortunately was de-scoped for the game jam timeline but would be great to explore further.
