Minor Updates and Big Plans


I have decided to expand on Chasing Phylums to add new game play and goals.


This first update is adding some things that I felt were missing from the base game. Most notably, a clearer user interface. There is now a text window at the top of the screen that provides short descriptions of items, which seemed helpful for getting started. This text window can be disabled in the Help menu (on page 3 currently). Effects to represent how items are moving around in the game were also added for clarity. 
I also added a short soundtrack and the ability to mute the game (Help menu, page 3 currently).


My plans moving forward are to:

  1. Separate Help and Settings into separate menus
  2. Add sound effects and the ability to mute them separately from the music
  3. Add CRAFTING as a secondary use for the flowers in your inventory that will raise money faster than selling them individually
